| "Hawaiian Style 3," is packed with 18 tracks of the feel good island style music fans of the Hawaiian Style compilation series have come to expect - music by Hawaii's top entertainers and new artists that showcase the "island" lifestyle - Hawaiian style. Na Hoku Hanohano and Hawaii Music Award winners and finalists abound in "Hawaiian Style 3" and the hits just keep on comin'. "Shores of Waiehu," an original by Maui's favorite sons, Ekolu, is their biggest hit yet, and Bruddah Norm's "Lonely" stayed on top of island music charts for months. The sweet island sound of "Honey," is true blue Baba B., and Kawika Regidor's silky voice is so "Amazing." Ka'ala Boys take us back to the country in "Kamuela Yodel," and Heart and Soul's ukulele rhythms in "Hele On Down to Hawai'i Nei" will have you feeling sand between your toes. The lovely ladies of Reality get a little bit sassy with "This Good Thing."
Kohomua, newcomers from Maui, made a big splash with their rendition of "Hold Me In Your Arms." The chart topping Three Plus work magic on "Mystic Man," and overnight sensation, "BIG" Pati, with a little help from Hawai'i's own mega star, Fiji, puts his island R&B stamp on Henry Kapono's classic, "Gotta Get Away."
True to form, "Hawaiian Style 3" includes a few "classics" as well as new music. Cecelio & Kapono's "Friends," Bruddah Waltah's "Baby Please," and Kapena's "Okie Dokie Makou" continue to please after all these years while new music by K2 ("Wish"), Kekoa ("Wahiawa Rain") and Carole and Florent's version of the ever popular, "Love and Honesty," are like a fresh tropical breeze as they carry on the island music legacy.
